The session will include a brief overview of select topics and a Town Hall format where participants are encouraged to ask questions, either by forwarding them in advance or during the session via an open microphone.

The “Pre & Post Award OIG Reviews: What You Need to Know” session is designed to provide all FSS vendors with a deeper understanding of the OIG review process. Learning objectives include:
– LO-1: Circumstances for a pre/post award review and review process
– LO-2: Defining “current, accurate, and complete” data
– LO-3: Key elements of an expedited audit

6B Pharmaceutical Update
(Pharmaceutical Suppliers)
The challenges on the availability of pharmaceuticals, initiatives to increase competition in the standardization of pharmaceuticals, and overviews of the Pharmaceutical Prime Vendor Program, Pharmaceutical Repackaging, Influenza Vaccine, Reverse Distribution and the Subsistence Prime Vendor Programs will be addressed in this session. The information will be presented in a Town Hall format where conference participants are encouraged to ask questions by providing them in advance or during the session.

B FSS Break-out Session Descriptions
The VA Federal Supply Schedule break-out sessions will build on the experiences of our customers with presentations through three themed tracks:

(1) Prospective Contractor: The Prospective Contractor track offers basic information on the VA FSS program for vendors new to FSS. Sessions spotlight how to get a Schedule contract, offer best practices, and what to expect when negotiating an offer.

(2) Current Contractor: The Current Contractor track explores the processes, procedures, and best practices related to post-award contract actions. Topics to be covered include an overview of the modification request and contract extension processes, contract requirements, and how to receive contracting assistance.

(3) All FSS Vendors: The All FSS Vendors track will provide relevant, readily applicable information on changes to the VA FSS program. Track sessions will address the new solicitation format, how to effectively manage a subcontracting plan, and available electronic tools.
