Travel to and from O’Hare International Airport
The InterContinental Chicago O’Hare has a complimentary shuttle that runs every 20 minutes between the hotel and O’Hare from 7:00am – 10:00pm and every 30 minutes from 10:00pm – 7:00am. No Reservations are necessary. The shuttle picks up at the Bus/Shuttle Center at O’Hare Airport. Signs will direct you to the pick up area.
Taxis pick up right outside Baggage Claim and will cost approximately $15.00 from O’Hare to the InterContinental Chicago O’Hare.
Chicago’s Public Transit System, the CTA, will also take you to the InterContinental Chicago O’Hare. The O’Hare train station, part of the CTA Blue Line, is located one level below Baggage Claim. Follow the signs to the train station. Cost is $2.25 for the trip from O’Hare to the Rosemont Station. The hotel is 4 blocks south on River Road from the Blue Line Station.
For guests who are interested in seeing the sights in Downtown Chicago, the Blue Line rail system will take you there and back for $4.50 (round trip).
For pick up from the Blue Line, simply call the hotel at 847-544-5300. Let the operator you are a guest in the hotel and would like the shuttle to pick you up from the Rosemont Blue Line Stop.
Fitness Center
The InterContinental Chicago O’Hare offers a state of the art fitness center with the latest models of weight machines, free weights and cardiovascular machines. The elevators to the sleeping rooms are located right next to the fitness center, so guests will not have to walk through the lobby or any part of the hotel to reach the center. The fitness center is open 24 hours a day and includes water, fruit and towels if guests wish to help themselves.
Flight/Business Center
Guests can print their boarding passes from this room and check on the status of their flight with the digital flight display boards. The first 15 minutes of computer use is free. Digital flight display information is also available in the guest rooms, in the Bistro Museo restaurant and the Ice Bar on the InterContinental’s property.

Exciting Off-Site Restaurants
Gino’s East serves traditional Italian Fare; Al’s Beef is a Chicago-style subway, sandwich and hamburger restaurant; Gibson’s serves big flavor steaks, chops and fresh fish daily; Carlucci’s serves Old World, upscale, handmade Italian dishes, simmered sauces and robust wines. Are all close to the hotel, but would require driving or taking a taxi.
Internet Access
There is a $12.95 charge for internet access in your hotel room per day for purchase. The public spaces of the hotel including the restaurants and lobby have free wireless internet access.
